RFI Adopts Hibiscus Through Adopt-an-Herb Program

Joining the American Botanical Council’s (ABC) Adopt-an-Herb program, RFI Ingredients, Blauvelt, NY, has adopted hibiscus (Hibiscus sabdariffa, Malvaceae), an herb used in many traditional medicinal systems.

 
For the next three years, RFI will financially support the addition of the latest scientific and clinical research on H. sabdariffa to ABC‘s HerbMedPro database, an electronic herbal database that provides hyperlinked access to the scientific and clinical data underlying the use of herbs.
